Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs 9, Durham Bulls 2

Ruben Cardenas hit a two-run home run in his first game back against his former team to lead Lehigh Valley past Durham 9-2 in the second half opener.

Ronny Simon went 4-4 for the Bulls, with two doubles, a single and a triple.  Tyler Alexander worked six solid innings, permitting two runs, but absorbing the loss.
