Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs 9, Durham Bulls 3

Two former Bulls outfielders slugged home runs as Lehigh Valley defeated the Durham Bulls 9-3 to even the six-game series at 2-2.

Cal Stevenson connected for a three-run shot in the second, while Ruben Cardenas hit a two-run homer in the fifth.

Rene Pinto and Rob Brantly slugged homers for Durham, which fell to 2-2 in the second half.

Jeffrey Springs took the loss, working three innings on three runs in his fourth major league rehab start for Tampa Bay.
