Charlotte Knights 12, Durham Bulls 11 (10)

The Charlotte Knights defeated the Durham Bulls 12-11 in 10 innings in the series opener at Truist Field on Tuesday.

Durham hit four homers, including back-to-back home runs by Ruben Cardenas and Yu Chang for the second time in a week.  Junior Caminero struck for his 7th and Rene Pinto drilled his third in seven games.

The Bulls held separate leads of 1, 5, 3 and 2, but the Knights only lead came as the game ended on a grounder in the last of the 10th by Chuckie Robinson.
