David Willis, known as Ski Beatz professionally, is a rapper and hip hop producer who hails from Greensboro, NC. Beatz was a founding member of the rap group 'The Bizzie Boyz.' But Beatz is known for his work with hip hop legend Jay-Z, producing several songs on Jay-Z's Reasonable Doubt album, including the song Dead Presidents II. Beatz talks about the influences the state of North Carolina has on the hip hop world, how he met Jay-Z, how he'd love to work with J Cole, and how he loves seeing others from North Carolina, including 9th Wonder, Phonte, and Big Pooh carry the torch for the state.
