For the 9th time in his career - ans 2nd time this year - Martin Necas scored an overtime game winner. 90 seconds into extra time, Necas redirected a Sebastian Aho pass over the shoulder of Sabres goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkanen and the Canes had their 2nd straight win and their 5th in their last 6 times out. Carolina improves to 4-0 in games that have gone beyond regulation and Necas has 2 goals and an assist in the 3 that were decided 3-on-3. Tony DeAngelo and Brady Skjei also scored for Carolina who got a great game from goaltender Antti Raanta. His 19 saves were enough to win his 3rd straight start.
