Does Carolina have a goaltending problem? Freddie Andersen lets in a late 3rd period bad goal as the Canes lose, 3-1, at home to the Maple Leafs. The Canes had plenty of chances to make that a moot point early in the game, but they were unable to get the puck behind Toronto's Erik Kallgren after taking a 1-0 lead in the opening period. Stefan Noesen scored the only Hurricanes goal, on a first period power play, as Carolina's record falls to 8-3-1 on the season.
