Carolina lost to the Stars, 4-3, in a shootout Thursday night at PNC Arena. For what seemed like the umpteenth time in March, the Canes dominated the stat sheet and lost the game. They outshot Dallas 47-15 on the night and twice had a lead only to give it back within a minute. It's been 13 games since Carolina has scored more than 3 goals in regulation.
