Episode Description

Calgary beat Carolina, 3-2, with a late 3rd period goal as the Canes 7-game winning streak came to an end.  The Hurricanes got goals from Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Jalen Chatfield, but couldn't find a third before Yegor Sherangovich put the Flames in front with about 4 1/2 minutes to play.  Brandon Bussi made 31 saves in the loss.  Before the game, the Canes found out that Mark Jankowski could not play due to a lower body injury.  Afterwords, Rod Brind'Amour said that Jankowski was sent back to Raleigh for further evaluation.  That marks the 4th foward out of the lineup.
