Carolina Hurricanes: Morning After the OT Marty Party in Dallas

The Carolina Hurricanes beat the Dallas Stars 3-2 in overtime when Martin Necas does what Martin Necas does: scores overtime goals against the Stars. For the second time this year, Necas beat Dallas in extra time, the first coming in December's 5-4 win in Raleigh. Sebastian Aho scored shorthanded, Brent Bruns added a goal and Antii Raanta came off the bench for an injured Frederick Andersen to stop all fifteen shots in the win.
