Episode Description

Carolina dominated the shot chart, had more than twice the puck possession and triple the scoring chances -- especially those in the high danger areas -- but could only muster two goals and fell in overtime to the Avalanche, 3-2. The Hurricanes are either lucky or unlucky to be 10-5-2 on the season. Either way, we're bound to find out over the next few weeks. Nine of the Hurricanes next 11 games are on the road beginning Saturday night in Minnesota.
