The Canes gave up a shorthanded goal on an early power play and then Frederik Andersen's right skate scored on himself as the Canes fell in Nashville 3-0. The Hurricanes put 32 shots on Jusi Saros, but could not dent the scoresheet. Carolina's lead in the Metro is down to one point after the Devils win over  Columbus. Next up is a Saturday matinee in Buffalo at 12:30p.
