Pyotr Kochetkov made 31 saves, Sebastian Aho, Martin Necas and Andrei Svechnikov each scored as the Hurricanes beat the Kings, 4-2 in Los Angeles. Brent Burns registered a couple of assists and two stellar defensive plays in the win which also marked the return of Teuvo Teravainen. Turbo returned after missing the last 10 games with an upper body injury and played just under 16 minutes. The Hurricanes kept pace with the Devils who won in Philadelphia. Carolina sits second in the Metropolitan Division, 8 points behind New Jersey. The Canes are on the ice next in Anaheim on Tuesday night.
