Canes top Blue Jackets, 4-2

Brady Skjei scored a goal and assisted on another, Spencer Martin remained unbeaten in goal, and the top lines started doing top line things as the Canes beat Columbus, 4-2. Teuvo Teravainen and Sebastion Aho staked the Hurricanes to a 2-0 lead in the first half of the second period. Then, just after coming out of the penalty box, Brady Skjei scored a one-handed breakaway goal for Carolina's third goal of the second period. Seth Jarvis scored into an empty net late in the 3rd for the final marker.
