The Hurricanes couldn't hold a 2-goal lead -- twice -- and lost to the Predators, 6-5, in the first of 3 straight games on home ice. Stefan Noesen and Tony DeAngelo scored 1st period power play goals as the Canes led 2-1 after 20 minutes. From there the game became wide open and Carolina's defending and goaltending let them down. Antti Raanta allowed 6 goals on 30 shots in the loss. Sebastian Aho, Jalen Chatfield and Martin Necas also scored, with Marty, and Noesen also adding assists. Michael Bunting also had 2 assists on the night.
