Episode Description

Evgeny Kuznetsov scored his first goal with the Canes and added an assist as Carolina thumped the Panthers, 4-0. It was the second time in three weeks that the Hurricanes shut out the Panthers in Raleigh. Seth Jarvis scored with 49 seconds left in the 1st period to give Carolina the lead. Martin Necas and Andrei Svechnikov added goals as well. Frederik Andersen made 10 of his 21 saves in the 1st period as he held the Canes in the game until they could get to their game. Once they did, it was a pretty dominant, controlling performance.
