Episode Description

Mental health and substance abuse struggles are so common that nearly every family experiences trying to help a loved one through it. Yet, stigmas and barriers exist and are preventing those in need of care from accessing life-changing treatments. The Huntsman Family is on a mission to change that in Utah and beyond. In this week's edition of Utah Weekly Forum, FM100.3 Host Rebecca Cressman is joined by Christena Huntsman Durham. Huntsman Durham explains how her own family's story influenced the Huntsman Family Foundation to break down barriers, build mental health resources and support, and to spread the hopeful message that "You Are Not the Only One". If you need help today, please text or call 988 to reach someone who is available to help 24 hours a day at the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
