Utah–Houston Preview with Sly Sylvester | Runnin’ Utes Bring the Hustle

Dark Mode is back, College GameDay is coming, and Utah has a few things to clean up before Houston arrives.

Former Utah linebacker Stevenson “Sly” Sylvester joins Steve Bartle to preview Utah vs. Houston and break down the defensive mistakes against Colorado. Through film review, Sly explains how coverage responsibilities, communication and eye discipline can turn a potential stop into an explosive touchdown—and what Utah needs to fix.

Sly also shares the story behind Utah’s original blackout, discusses Morgan Scalley’s leadership and explains how Devon Dampier’s decision-making, Wayshawn Parker’s versatility and an up-tempo offense could challenge Houston.

Plus, Utah basketball is giving fans a reason to pay attention. Steve breaks down the Runnin’ Utes’ 81–77 overtime exhibition win over Oregon, the hustle plays becoming a standard under Alex Jensen and why the team still believes it can play much better.
