Summary: In Colorado, the poverty rate for older adult senior women is 10.8%. Much of this is due to economic disparities through their lives, caregiving responsibilities as more grandparents are caring for their grandchildren and senior women receive 69% less in Social Security benefits than men and 65% less retirement savings.
