This is the fifth year that Governor Polis has proclaimed October Colorado Lottery Conservation Month, it is meant to help spread the word and help celebrate Colorado's outdoor and the impact that the lottery has had on the outdoors. The Colorado Lottery has contributed over $4.3 billion since the program started that they have given back to the state. Every county in the state actually receives lottery money through the Conservation Trust Fund grants as well as other grants from the lotto. That money the county receives has to be used for outdoor recreation or conservation.
Mile High Magazine takes a look at the issues and people shaping Colorado. Presented by the public affairs department of Bonneville Denver.
