Colorado has an increasing problem of drinking water contaminated with PFAS, Polyfluoroalkyl substances. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment with its new PFAS Action Plan is working to eliminate theses substances from our water, lakes and streams. It is also working to eliminate PFAS from products being purchased by the public.
