Episode Description

Newly-passed laws from the Utah Legislature have delivered some challenges for mental health professionals and educators. This week, a Salt Lake City summit is bringing together those folks to discuss how to best deliver mental health services among those challenges. The Black Mental Health and Education Summit is aimed at creating strategies to address barriers and gaps in supporting Black students.

Clincial director of Two Brothas Counselling in Ogden Gregory Noel, LMFT told Maria Shilaos that it's important for the individuals who work face-to-face with young people every day to find the best ways to help them with their challenges.
