30 years of the AMBER Alert

It's a public safety alert that can have you jumping out of your skin when it goes off. The alert... often making your heart stop for just a beat. Whether on the radio, on TV, or through an intense vibrating alert sent to your phone, it's hard to ignore an AMBER Alert.

In the 30 years since the AMBER Alert came to be, it's been credited with saving thousands of children's lives. Today, we take a moment to celebrate three decades of the powerful life-saving alert.
