Navajo Nation President Dr. Buu Nygren sent police after two Energy Fuels Inc. trucks this week for transporting radioactive uranium ore across the tribal nation without permission. Energy Fuels Inc. said in a statement they informed stakeholders last month and are in compliance.
Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs temporarily paused uranium ore shipments while the two sides negotiate.
