Mother sues Tucson rehab facility after daughter overdoses during stay in 2023

A mother is suing a Tucson rehab facility after her daughter overdosed on fentanyl during her stay at Buena Vista Health and Recovery Center. The lawsuit asks for compensation over the death of 25-year-old Terria Lewis. Her attorneys argue Buena Vista had a responsibility to maintain a safe and secure treatment environment, free from illicit drugs.
