Honeywell Aerospace, Near Earth Autonomy test autonomous helicopters in Mesa

Honeywell Aerospace is now testing autonomous military helicopters right here in the Valley. Directors Sapan Shah says the goal of the autonomous flight is to limit as many crew members as possible so personnel can focus on logistical support to complete a mission. He explains there were two safety pilots onboard, but neither were flying the helicopter.
