Episode Description

In an effort to reduce the number of Arizona foster children in group home and congregate care, the Arizona Department of Child Safety has expanded services for kinship families who take in children. Kin can be extended family, family friends or even a trusted coach.

Tanya Abdellatif with the agency says new services include home visits, educational support and a pathway to becoming a long-term foster parent.
