Ariz. House Dem leader reacts to GOP colleague saying Congress member should be hanged

Arizona House Representative John Gillette is being accused of stocking political violence after he said Washington state Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal should be hanged for encouraging protests against the Trump administration. State House Democratic leader Oscar de los Santos says Jayapal was calling for peaceful protests. He encouraged all elected officials to tone down the rhetoric. 

KTAR reached out to Rep. Gillette for a response but did not hear back.
