Episode Description

A two-year stalemate over how to share the water from the Colorado River finally has some finality -- the federal government has released their preferred management plan for how that water should be used. Among the changes are that states in the lower basin -- like California, Arizona, and Nevada -- must cut their water usage by 20%. But what about upper basin states like Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico? Gene Shawcroft, Chair of the Colorado River Authority of Utah joins to share what this deal means for our state.
