Episode Description

It's always nice to finish the week off with positive news. And when it comes to cancer, any developments in treatment deserve applause. This week, we learned that the FDA has approved a drug that has been shown to extend the median overall survival for people with advanced pancreatic cancer... by nearly double. We also learned that Utah's top cancer research center in the state -- the Huntsman Cancer Institute -- played a critical role in the development and testing of this drug.
