Salt Lake City planning commission approves contentious plan to expand housing

A controversial proposal to expand housing options in Salt Lake City will move ahead to the city council, after the city planning commission gave it the green light last night. The proposal could make several changes to residential zones in the city and would allow landowners to build additional homes on their properties. For the latest on the plans and what happened with city leaders, KSL digital reporter Carter Williams joins Greg Skordas and guest host Jim Bennett. Earlier this month, we spoke with someone in support of the proposal; today, we speak with two people opposed to the plans: Peter Wetzel and Josh Stewart of Neighborhood Housing Alliance.
