Back in 2020, Kyle Burgess encountered a cougar on a trail in Slate Canyon in Utah County, giving us the first-hand experience of what it is like to be stalked and attacked by a cougar. Now that it's getting warm and we are seeing more Utahns venture into the mountains, we take a beat to remind hikers how to be safe on the trails and how to keep it so the only cougars they see… are on their TVs during the NCAA season. #BYU
