Preventing a Kakistocracy

From snubs to jabs, bad behavior in politics shows us that we need good men and women in government. However the current political culture discourages the good people we need from engaging in American politics. In order for us to get those people who will create positive momentum in policy, we need to denounce the bad behavior by not providing it the oxygen to continue in our political sphere. Punishing negative action can prevent a kakistocracy from forming and allow big ideas to emerge, creating a flourishing democracy all of us desire.
