Poll: Majority of Utahns disapprove of Pres. Trump's order shrinking size of monuments, still value local control over public lands

The fallout from President Trump's recent executive order slashing the size of Bears Ears and Grand Staircase Escalante National Monuments continues. Now, we're getting a better idea of how Utahns feel about the move. But what's really interesting is this kind of juxtaposition we saw in the polling results. According to polling from the Deseret News and Hinckley Institute of Politics, a majority of Utahns oppose shrinking the monuments. But at the same time, a wide majority of Utahns support putting public lands in the hands of local governments. Greg and Holly break it all down.
