Police Arrest Man of Suspected Arson in Big Cottonwood Canyon

According to the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office, at approximately 2:30 pm on April 14, 2026, witnesses recreating in Big Cottonwood Canyon reported an individual intentionally starting multiple fires.
