People in Box Elder County prepare for public hearing on proposed data center 

Governor Spencer Cox is backing a proposed 40,000-acre data center in Box Elder County, just as hundreds of residents prepare to descend on the county fairgrounds today to voice opposition to the plan before the county commission. Many have voiced concerns over water, heat island, power, and the secrecy of the project. If it's such a great thing – as the Governor says – why has it been hidden until just now?
