Amid the chaos and darkness that fell upon our country 25 years ago today, there was a little glimmer of light coming from our neighbors in the north. Shortly after the attacks began, the FAA closed American airspace for the first time ever. Suddenly, planes across the country were ordered to land... immediately.  With thousands of planes in the air -- flying to the U.S. from overseas destinations -- it meant two options: turn back or find another place to land.
