More than 50 fires start in Utah over the weekend; nearly 100k under evacuation notices due to fire burning near Reno, Nevada

Dozens of new fires across the state over the weekend, closing canyons and highways, and resulting in several evacuations. Since Friday morning, 55 new fires have popped up. That brings our total fires for the year -- thus far -- to 948. Roughly half of those have been caused by people. In nearby Reno, Nevada, the Hawk Fire sparked over the weekend. Officials believe the fire was deliberately set, and it's resulted in the evacuation of close to 100,000 people. Utah Firewatch -- Greg and Holly get listeners caught up on the latest blazes.
