More than 20 democratic-led states sue Trump administration for withholding of afterschool/summer program funding

The cut to federal budgets may be impacting more than just the bottom line this summer as many afterschool and summer programs are facing closure due to this freeze of their funding. This leaves many parents and children scrambling for a plan as parents try to find a backup plan. Now nearly two dozen democratic states are suing the Trump administration's Department of Education and Office of Management and Budget for withholding over 6 billion dollars in federal funding for educational funding.
