Judge rules that Douglas Carter must submit to a DNA test

A man who spent decades on death row -- but had his conviction overturned -- will stay in jail as he awaits a new trial, at least for now. The judge didn't rule on bond for Douglas Carter yesterday, but he did rule that Carter must submit to a DNA test. KSL Legal Analyst Greg Skordas explains the DNA test and why it matters now, knowing that DNA testing technology didn't exist at the time of Carter's alleged crime.
