Episode Description

It's a battle over housing in Utah's capital city. Granted, it's an issue all over the state and it's not super new -- you've heard us talk about the housing crisis time and time again. But in Salt Lake City, a proposal to expand housing options -- partly by opening up options for more houses on a single lot -- has drawn some really strong feelings. Ahead of a city planning commission meeting tonight, the hosts dig into the proposal, what it entails, and why people on both sides feel so passionately about it. Greg shares some of his feelings against the plans, while Founding Executive Director of Wasatch Advocates for Livable Communities Turner Bitton joins to share why he supports the plans.
