Worries over privacy and security with the ever-growing Flock cameras have made it to Utah's Capitol Hill. Governor Spencer Cox has ordered a full privacy review amidst concerns and allegations that the data on those cameras is being misused. The comments from the Governor came during his August news conference and came following a report from the Utah Civic Compact about cameras in Weber County being accessed millions of times by out-of-state agencies. During his monthly news conference, the governor also spoke about the Military Installation Development Authority (MIDA) and the need for more reform for this agency.
