Eye On The Hill: Transgender Care

The House Health and Human Services Committee will hear three bills related to transgender youth this afternoon.  Representative Rex Shipp is sponsoring legislation that would make a current moratorium, which stops minors from starting puberty blockers and cross sex hormones, permanent. The legislation would also require any minors still on puberty blockers or hormones to phase off of them by January 28th, 2027. Representative Rex Shipp joins the show to explain the legislation.
