Eagle Mountain residents face day after day without dependable internet access

Our lives have become so dependent on internet access that when we lose it, we often don't know what to do. That's been the ongoing situation in Eagle Mountain over the last several days, as much of the city has been without internet. The internet service provider "Direct Communications" says it appears a cyberattack was to blame. Beginning on Friday, the company says it started to experience unusually high internet traffic that's usually found in a specific kind of attack known as "distributed denial of service." But while the company works to get things back up and running, Eagle Mountain residents sit without answers or a timeline.
