Things could get a little interesting down in Eagle Mountain. The city council will vote on a 183% property tax increase tomorrow. And just last week, we learned that more than 700 people will soon be out of a job when Tyson Foods closes its beef processing facility in the city. When they announced the closure, Tyson Foods said it was due to an historic cattle shortage. Either way, it feels like a one-two punch for folks living in one of the fastest-growing regions in the state.
