DOJ confirms investigation into Utah's chief elections officer

We've known Utah's Lieutenant Governor has been in the crosshairs of the U.S. Department of Justice for a while now over her refusal to hand over private voter information. But overnight, we learned that Lieutenant Governor Deidre Henderson is under an official investigation. What makes the story more interesting… is that the L.G. also just found out that she's under investigation. It's the latest attack on Utah's electoral system and chief elections officer, all because she's following the law as it relates to voter information.
