Congress discusses ways to address and change birthright citizenship

Congress may pick up where the Supreme Court left off with birthright citizenship. The high court gave a kind of mixed bag on the issue in the spring, but upheld the fact that the President could not redefine a constitutional amendment with an executive order. But with the House back in session right now, they're looking into ways to restrict birthright citizenship. In a hearing on Capitol Hill, the House Oversight Committee is looking at so-called birth tourism.
