Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Explaining the RECA fund

For years, Utahns who had health issues resulting from the nation's nuclear testing in the West struggled to get help and support. Recently, the eligibility expanded and now many more people are eligible for help under the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month; we've talked about it a few times. But we've had several people reach out to us wanting us to talk more about the RECA fund and how it works.
