Ask the Attorney: Former death row inmate released after 40+ years on bail

After more than 40 years in prison and jail -- including decades spent on death row -- Douglas Carter woke up in the real world today. Yesterday, the judge overseeing the case ruled that he could be released on bail while the Utah County Attorney's Office works on a new trial for Carter. We talked a bit about this story yesterday when the judge was hearing testimony and arguments about releasing Carter on bail. The judge ruled in favor of Carter in the evening and Carter left the Utah County Jail late last night. KSL Legal Analyst Greg Skordas answers Holly's questions about what happens next.
