A man who spent decades on death row was back in a courtroom today.

Douglas Carter is awaiting a new trial... after his original conviction in the murder of Eva Olesen was overturned because of police and prosecutor misconduct. 

It's been a year since the ruling overturning his conviction came down... but he's still being held in jail. So let's bring in KSL legal analyst Greg Skordas to talk about that.
