Alabama death row execution faces scrutiny over ‘last words’ 

Last night, an inmate in Alabama was put to death for a 1994 murder. Just before the execution, Carey Dale Grayson was allowed a chance to give his final words. But prison officials cut off his microphone once Grayson began making obscene remarks. This has sparked a new discussion on ‘last words’ and whether those being executed deserve to share their final remarks.
